Koen is becoming chubby!

So much so we have nicknamed him meatball!

As you can see his thighs have some rolls!

Not only is he gaining weight he’s starting to hold his head up!

Hearing pass!

Koen has finally passed his hearing test!

Hearing fail!

So Koen has failed five hearing test and tomorrow we will be seeing a specialist, to do a more comprehensive test.

For the last four weeks I have been constantly wondering if he can hear, making loud noises and hoping he startles.

The doctors have told me that since Koen came in a blaze of glory, ( just 4 hours of labour) that he has fluid in his ears, which explains the failed hearing test. But I’m just not sure.

Here’s hoping you can hear little man!

And if you can’t, we will deal!

1 month!

So Koen is one month old!
Life is so busy, I never imagined it would be so busy. Having a newborn and a busy three year old is intense. I don’t know how people do it, but we are managing to get by with minimal upsets.

I’m thrilled to anounce the birth of my second son.
Koen Alexander was born June 1st. At 4:05pm weighting 7lbs and 2 ounces. He is 20 inches long and absolutly perfect!

>Life With Kael is about to get a whole lot bigger!
